The big parish church of the walled town, mostly 15th century, its spire rising above Tenby’s roofs. The chancel has a fine panelled wagon roof studded with 75 carved bosses — foliage, grotesques, a mermaid, a green man. There’s a wall memorial to Robert Recorde, the Tenby-born mathematician who invented the equals sign, and another to Thomas White, the mayor who hid the young Henry Tudor from Richard III. Tenby station is a few minutes’ walk to the west.
