Eilean Garbh twin beaches
Local highlightAt the north end of Gigha, a slender sandy tombolo joins the little headland of Eilean Garbh to the island, giving you two back-to-back white beaches, one on each side. Whichever way the wind’s blowing, one of them is sheltered. It’s a short walk from the road near Tarbert farm. Gigha itself is a quick ferry from Tayinloan on Kintyre, which makes this an easy day away from the mainland.
