Post mills are the oldest kind of windmill, the entire body turning on a central post to face the wind, and Wrawby’s is a rare survivor still in working order. It sits on a hill above Brigg and opens only a handful of days a year, mostly bank holidays through the summer, when the sails are turned and milling is demonstrated. Entry is free; Brigg station is a couple of kilometres off.
