The white smock mill on the hill above Turville is Cobstone Windmill, cosmetically fixed up in 1968 to play the Potts family’s home in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Built around 1816, it’s a private house now and can’t be visited, but public footpaths climb the hill and give a clear view of it above the valley.
