A small market town under the Chilterns scarp, Princes Risborough sits below Whiteleaf Cross, the chalk cross cut into the hill above. It has a colonnaded market house in the square, the National Trust’s manor house nearby, and the Ridgeway running along the tops. The station is a short walk from the centre, on the line to London and Aylesbury.
