Parwich is a pretty limestone village set around a pond, the local stone giving its cottages a faint pink cast. Above them stands the red-brick front of Parwich Hall, a Georgian house looking down over the rooftops. It lies off the main tourist routes in the southern White Peak, quiet and worth the short detour.
