Lochearnhead sits at the western tip of Loch Earn, a long-standing base for watersports — sailing, waterskiing and kayaking on the loch. The village stands at the foot of Glen Ogle, where a former railway is now a walking and cycling route climbing towards Killin. A useful stop between Loch Earn and Loch Tay.
