A small village where the River Moriston tumbles into Loch Ness, Invermoriston is worth a stop for Thomas Telford’s old bridge of 1813, which spans the gorge just above the falls. A newer bridge carries the traffic now, so you can walk out onto the old one and look down at the water crashing through. There’s parking by the falls.
