On the West Mainland’s north coast, Evie lies near the sweeping Sands of Evie and the Broch of Gurness, one of Orkney’s best-preserved Iron Age brochs. Swannay Brewery, whose ales you’ll find in pubs across the islands, is based nearby. A quiet spot with good beach walking.
