Just east of Kirkcaldy, Dysart is an old harbour burgh with one of the prettiest little harbours on the Fife coast, tucked below a terrace of restored old houses. The Fife Coastal Path runs right through, and the harbour has appeared as a filming location in Outlander. Kirkcaldy station is about 3km south-west.
