Chobham is an old village on the northern edge of the Surrey heaths, with a high street of small independent shops. Just north spreads Chobham Common, a large heather-and-birch national nature reserve where Queen Victoria reviewed her troops in 1853. There’s no station in the village itself; Longcross is about 4km north.
