Brockham gathers round a big triangular green beside the River Mole, with Box Hill rising to the north. The green hosts one of Surrey’s largest bonfire and fireworks nights each November. It’s an easy walk from Betchworth, whose station is about 1.5km away on the Reigate–Reading line.
