A self-built Finnish-style sauna with an IKI wood stove, on the shore of Buckland Park Lake near Reigate
Save this place
Brothers Ian and James built Savu themselves, a Finnish-style sauna with a handmade IKI wood-burning stove, beside the Surrey Hills Adventure Club on Buckland Park Lake. Savu means smoke in Finnish. Between rounds you use three filtered, chilled cold plunges and a cold shower. Swimming in the lake itself is run separately by the adventure club, so book with them if you want a proper swim.
