Broadhembury is an estate village of cream-washed thatched cottages in the Blackdown Hills, gathered around a medieval church and the thatched Drewe Arms pub. Long owned by the Drewe family, it survives as an unusually complete and pretty example. Feniton, the nearest station, is around 5km south.
