Abriachan is a scattered crofting community strung along the hills high above Loch Ness, reached by a steep single-track road. There’s a network of community woodland trails to walk, and a well-known cottage nursery selling hardy plants raised up at altitude. Quiet and a little out of the way, it’s worth the climb for the views back down to the loch.
