The Canal Museum fills a three-storey former corn mill beside the locks at Stoke Bruerne, on the Grand Union Canal. Opened in 1963, it tells the story of narrowboat life over two centuries, and just up the cut is the southern mouth of Blisworth Tunnel, close to two miles long. Paid entry, open most days. The Boat Inn stands right by the locks if you want lunch after.
