Huntsman's Leap
Local highlightHuntsman’s Leap is a narrow, sheer-sided chasm slicing into the limestone near Bosherston, the sea funnelling in far below. The name comes from a tale of a rider who jumped the gap on horseback, then died of fright when he looked back at what he’d cleared. Climbers prize its vertical walls. It lies on the Castlemartin range near St Govan’s, so access follows the army’s firing timetable.
