Come in June, when the lakes at Bosherston vanish under white water lilies. These are man-made ponds, dug on the Stackpole estate in the 18th and 19th centuries and now a National Trust nature reserve, with otters and herons among the reeds. Paths and stone causeways loop round from Bosherston village down to the sand at Broad Haven South.
