Dune-backed cove reached only on foot.
There’s no road to Barafundle: you reach it on foot over the headland from Stackpole Quay, about half a mile of cliff path and a flight of steps. The reward is a curve of golden sand backed by dunes and a fringe of pines, owned by the National Trust and left undeveloped — no car park at the sand, no kiosk. Lamphey station is roughly 6km north.
