If you want to see ospreys, this is one of the easiest places in the country to do it. Loch of the Lowes, a Scottish Wildlife Trust reserve near Dunkeld, has a breeding pair on the loch from roughly late March to August, watched from hides and a visitor centre with live cameras on the nest. Red squirrels are regulars at the feeders too. The reserve is free; the centre charges non-members.
