Birnam Hill - King's Seat rises to 404 m (1,325 ft) in Perth and Kinross. It is one of the 1,546 Marilyns — British hills with at least 150 m of drop on every side. The surrounding countryside is part of the River Tay (Dunkeld) National Scenic Area.

Nearby hills include Newtyle Hill, Creag na Criche and Deuchary Hill. For arrivals by rail, Dunkeld & Birnam Station is 1.5 km to the north.
