Each winter the Taybank, Dunkeld’s riverside music bar and inn, sets up a handcrafted sauna on the bank of the Tay, from October until the end of March. It seats eight around a HUUM wood stove, and you cool off in a six-foot plunge tank or under the cold and bucket showers. There’s a firepit and outdoor seating looking across to Thomas Telford’s Dunkeld Bridge. Groups can hire it, and individuals can join the weekly community sessions.
