The Twice Brewed Inn sits right in Hadrian’s Wall country at Once Brewed, below Steel Rigg and the central crags. It brews its own award-winning ales next door and runs a dark-sky observatory, which makes it a fine end to a day on the Wall — or a base for an evening’s stargazing. The Milecastle Inn is its nearest neighbour. Bardon Mill station is about 4km south-east.
