The Ship Inn sits right on the front at Saltburn-by-the-Sea, tucked under the cliff beside the pier and the old cliff lift. An old smugglers’ haunt turned beachside local, it’s good for fish and chips and a pint with sand more or less underfoot. Saltburn station is a short walk up the bank.
