The Old Station Inn at Hallatrow was a station hotel in the 1920s, on a branch line long since closed. It still trades on the theme: as well as the bar and rooms, part of the restaurant is set inside a restored Pullman railway carriage. Open to the public for food and drink, and a curiosity worth the detour.
