An old coaching inn dating from 1706, the Brisley Bell sits beside Brisley Common, one of the largest surviving commons in Norfolk. Left derelict and nearly lost, it was rescued in 2015 and reopened as a country inn with log fires, bedrooms and a kitchen that cooks from scratch. Worth the detour if you’re crossing the middle of the county.
