After a look round Scalloway Castle, the Scalloway Hotel on the harbourfront is the spot for a good meal — the restaurant makes a point of local beef and Shetland seafood landed just across the water. There’s a comfortable bar too, and rooms if you fancy staying. A cracking base on the west coast.
