Lerwick Brewery is a small family-run outfit on the edge of Lerwick, and at 60° north it’s the UK’s most northerly brewery. They make lagers, pale ales and a Shetland bitter, and run tours of the brewhouse (roughly Tuesday to Friday) that finish with a tasting. There’s a taproom and shop too, stocked with the full range plus local gifts.
