The Douglas Arms on Commercial Road — known locally as the Marlex — is an old-school Lerwick pub with a traditional public bar and a lounge hung with Up Helly Aa memorabilia. It’s a good place to catch some informal Shetland fiddle music, and a local’s pub rather than a tourist one.
