The Drovers Inn has been putting up travellers at Inverarnan since 1705, back when cattle drovers walked their herds down from the glens. It sits near the head of Loch Lomond, right on the West Highland Way, so it makes a well-earned stop for walkers — all creaking staircases, open fires and stuffed animals in the hall. There are rooms if you’re breaking the route. Ardlui station is about 3km to the south.
