Waltham Place, near White Waltham, has been farmed organically since 1984 and biodynamically since 2006. The Dutch designer Henk Gerritsen reworked the ornamental gardens in 2000 into loose, naturalistic plantings that let insects and wildflowers take over — walled beds, meadows and grazed parkland rather than tidy bedding. Gardens open on set days across the summer, with tickets from the estate. Maidenhead station is about 4km north-east.
