Come in late May or early June for the candelabra primulas, when tens of thousands flower along the water at South Walsham. It’s a woodland and water garden on the edge of the Broads, with a 950-year-old oak, miles of paths and its own private broad you can tour by boat in season. Paid entry. Acle station is about 5km to the south-east.
