Woodforde’s is Norfolk’s best-known brewery, based since 1989 in converted farm buildings at Woodbastwick, in the Broads. Its flagship is Wherry, a golden bitter that was named CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain back in 1996. A taproom and shop on site handle tastings and takeaways. Salhouse station is about 3.5km west if you’re arriving by train, though most come by car or boat.
