The old walls here belong to a medieval priory near Bridgwater. Inside them the planting runs from a hot herbaceous border to a blue garden and a sub-tropical walk, with a glasshouse holding arid and tropical plants. Bridgwater College runs the gardens, and the redeveloped site was opened by the Duke of Edinburgh in 2009. Open to visitors for an admission charge; Bridgwater station is about 6km south-east.
