Abbeywood Gardens near Delamere are a friendly, family-made set of gardens, with a pool garden, hot exotic borders and woodland walks, plus a good café for afterwards. They make an easy add-on to a walk in Delamere Forest close by. There’s an admission charge, and Delamere station is about 2km to the north.
