Staal Smokehouse is a small family smokehouse at Bishop Burton, just west of Beverley, curing smoked salmon, trout and meats the slow way. It’s a producer rather than a shop to drop into, but you’ll find its goods on farm-shop shelves and market stalls around the East Riding — worth looking out for if you’re putting a Yorkshire hamper together.
