Scapa is a small distillery on the shore of Scapa Flow, just down the hill from Highland Park, making an unusually unpeated island single malt. A visitor centre opened here in 2015 and tours run in small numbers, so it’s best to book ahead. The setting alone, looking straight out over the Flow, makes it worth the short trip from Kirkwall.
