Sandford Orchards makes its cider on the edge of Crediton, in a building it calls Britain’s oldest working cider mill, and pours it a short walk away at a shop and taproom in the town. The range runs from traditional scrumpy to fine, bottle-conditioned ciders. Crediton station is about ten minutes on foot.
