Despite the name, this distillery is based at Nunton Steadings on Benbecula, the low island bridging North and South Uist. It’s best known for the award-winning Downpour gin range, with a Hebridean single malt maturing for release further down the line. Tours and tastings are offered — worth booking ahead by phone or email, as it’s a small operation and hours are seasonal.
