Hinba began on the slate island of Seil in 2019, though the roasting and the coffee shops have since moved off the island — the roastery is now in Glasgow, and the nearest café you can actually visit is on George Street in Oban, open daily. So while Seil is where the name started, don’t come here expecting a counter: head for Oban, or one of the Glasgow shops, for a proper cup.
