St Columba’s is Oban’s Roman Catholic cathedral, a big granite church standing right on the seafront along the Corran Esplanade. It was designed by Giles Gilbert Scott, the architect better known for Liverpool’s Anglican cathedral and the classic red telephone box. It’s about 800m north of the station along the front.
