Ganavan Sands is the sandy bay a couple of miles north of Oban, and Wild Bathing’s barrel sauna, The Catalina, stands beside the slipway and car park. Ten people fit inside. Between rounds you walk down to the bay for a sea dip, with Lismore and the hills of Mull across the water. Book a single seat in a mixed session or hire the sauna privately.
