The Hecks family have made farmhouse cider at Street since 1841 — six generations pressing apples, and pears for perry, from their own Somerset orchards. They’re known for single-variety ciders drawn straight from the wood, and the farm shop sells them alongside chutneys, vinegar and honey. Tours of the milling and pressing can be booked, and the shop is open to all.
