Bolney Wine Estate is one of England’s older vineyards, first planted in 1972 by Rodney and Janet Pratt, near Bolney. Unlike some Sussex estates it’s set up for visitors, with a cafe overlooking the vines, a shop and a wine trail, plus tours that are worth booking ahead. Wivelsfield station is about 7km to the south-east.
