The Knepp Walled Garden is a former kitchen garden at the Knepp rewilding estate near Dial Post, replanted so its beds self-seed and tangle rather than sit in tidy rows, now home to well over a thousand plant species. Visits are pre-booked only, as garden visits or tours, reached off Pound Lane. Christ’s Hospital station is about 7.5km to the north.
