Architectural Plants is a specialist nursery on Stane Street near North Heath, growing exotic evergreens, palms and clipped topiary. You can wander the display gardens for free while it’s trading as a working nursery most days, and it runs the occasional tour. Handy if you’re after something structural and unusual for a garden. Billingshurst station is about 3.5km to the north-east.
