Held by the National Trust for everyone to enjoy, Duddon Valley is open country in Cumbria. The Albion Guide maps 26 National Trust places in the county; this is one of them. It sits inside the Lake District National Park.

While you're in the area, you could take in the views from Cold Pike West Top, or look for wildlife at Ray and Crinkle Crags. For arrivals by rail, Windermere Station is about 16.5 km to the east.
