The great draw at St Agnes is the roof: a single hammerbeam span carrying carved wooden angels more than six feet tall, still showing traces of their medieval paint. It went up in the early 15th century on wool-trade money, with a painted rood screen ranked among the best in Norfolk. Open daily, in the village a few miles south of Reepham. North Walsham station is the nearest, about 16km east.
