Heydon Hall is a private Elizabethan house, still lived in by the Bulwer Long family who also own the whole of Heydon village — one of the few in England still entirely in private hands. The hall itself isn’t open, but its historic parkland is: walk in free any day, keeping to the paths, though access can close when cattle are out or farming takes over. St Agnes, Cawston is a few kilometres south, and Reepham is about 5.5km south-west.
