Known as the Cathedral of the Moor for its tall pinnacled tower, St Nonna rises above the Bodmin Moor village of Altarnun. Inside are dozens of carved 16th-century bench ends — figures, faces and a fiddler among them — and a Norman font ringed with bearded heads. Open access. The Rising Sun is just up the lane.
